What is the light behind the flame?
If touched will skin scorch or sparkle
Will molecules shift and bones buzz?
Will eyes be blinded,
and hearts take sight?

Who will see then?
What glow will illuminate the path?

(Torches are standing readied for ignition.)

Hush: Do not say a word.
Hush: A heart is straining to be heard.

Hush: The voice says, "inadequacies are not a glove.
Owned they become vehicles,
Moving us toward love."

Hands bared are full with compassion;
Vibrating,
filled with pure and simple action

It is the violet hour,
(a place in between)
Fertile hands long for touch,
and to touch.

Water so sweet waves desire.

In time,
Oceans and moonlight will command.

Now,
The sun diminishing, gently sets.
